All About The Blogger Series: Jade from Thrifty Yorkshire Mum

Every month I will be featuring an interview with another blogger in a series called, "All About The Blogger." It's a great way to learn about all the other fabulous blogs that are out there! This month features Jade from Thrifty Yorkshire Mum.

I’m Jade, I’m a mum of two (soon to be three!). I live in Yorkshire and I write on ‘Thrifty Yorkshire Mum’. My blog is full of money saving tips, including pregnancy, parenting and travel all on a budget.

Q1. How would your best friend describe you? (If you're not sure then ask them!)

Unorganised, caring, reliable.

Q2. What is your favourite thing about blogging?

Being able to do something worthwhile with my brain!
Q3. If you could change anything about blogging, what would it be?

The PR companies that only look at stats.

Q4. If you were invited to a Blogger’s Cocktail Party, which three bloggers would you invite and why?

Sarah from This Mama Life, Hanna from Little Snippets, and Susie Verill - fellow mums who all seem like a giggle.

Q5. What is the best blogging tip you have been given?

Write about what you love, not just what you think everyone else will love.

Q6. When you aren’t blogging, where is your favourite place to visit for a day out?

Probably somewhere like York, gorgeous city with good shops and good food.
Q7. Tell us about your guilty pleasure.  It could be food, drink, a TV programme or your favourite band.

Love Island! I can’t wait for it to start again. Not really a lover of reality T.V, but it normally has me hooked pretty quickly.

Q8. If you knew you were going to be marooned on a desert island and could take 3 luxury items with you, what would they be?

Moisturiser, gin and a good book.
Q9. What was the last good book you read?

‘Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine,’ first book I’ve read in ages, and it was brilliant.

Q10. Describe your perfect date night?

A night in without children, a tasty Thai takeaway and a good film (I’m easy to please, haha!).
